In 2008, a good friend asked me to meet him in Germany. I went, and here's the proof. For those who don't know, Okotberfest is mostly in September, and has over a million people visit. It is a great time to meet people and get drunk together.

My wife went to Montreal for a conference. My mom said "OMG we have to go!" Not in those words, but we decided to drive there. It was a great time with great things to see along the way. If you want to get the European experience without leaving North America, then this is a trip for you.

The cats get 23 hours a day with no stress. When we feel like it, we put them in costume. If he had but one guilty pleasure, it's making the cats play dress up and generally messing with them. They hate us.

In March of 2009, Erica and I decided to go out west for 2 weeks. We saw 5 states (CO, UT, AZ, NV, CA) 13 National Parks and Points of Interest, 2500 miles, 3 shows in Vegas (Penn & Teller, Blue Man, Wayne Brady) and collected about 50-75 lbs of rocks/minerals/crystals.
